How to remove fuel injectors for cleaning?
I've been searching without success to find understandable instructions on how to remove fuel injectors (2004 Vanden Plas) for cleaning? Can anyone point me to the right thread? Thanks!
Hi kbeachy,
I haven't done this job on our X350, but I presume that the X350 Workshop Manual contains instructions. You can download all six parts at this thread:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...k-links-20085/
Scroll down to the line that reads:
"Special Thanks to those Workshop Files provided by DB6"
The next six blue links, beginning with "Table of Contents," will take you to the page where you can download that section of the manual in pdf format.
Also available are the Electrical Manual and many other helpful files.
Cheers,
Don

does it require a special tool...? do you just pull em apart with a crow bar? what? and by the way, think I found the offening injectors at no. 1 and maybe 2 so ...looks like I could actually free them without pulling out fuel rail or the rest of injectors...anyone ever do that? thanks in advance dm
