Default I found a supplier for the TPS 198500-3300

I finally found a supplier who can make me the dreaded TPS 198500-3300 made by Denso.
This brat causes the P2135 fault and limp mode.
These devices will fail, its just when and it saves the cost of a new TB as Jaguar will not supply it on its own. If the demand is high enough I will get some made.

2002 onwards S-Type 2.5, 3.0, 4.2 & S/C
X350 XJ 3.0, 3.5, 4.2 & S/C
X-Type 2.5 & 3.0.

Might fit the 4.2 XK's but we are not sure yet.

Might fit the AJ27 V8 in the later X308 & X100, but again needs to be tested.

Count me in if the price is within reason. Honestly, if it is reasonable, I would buy a bunch to resell to get us to 50.

I need one for my 1995 X300. Can your friend provide one for that car?

"I figure that the sensor may need to be aligned.?''

Yes you are correct, I have a note of this somewhere, butterfly is 15 deg open at idle.

I also have an used TB and can see that the TPS has two oval slots for the attachment screws and both screws are not in the same position and sealed with a dab of paint.

ie the TPS has been set to a voltage.

Regarding the Throttle Position Sensor Part Number TPS 198500-3300 made by Denso.
If the supplier is Guangzhou Sensar Automobile Electronic Co., Ltd.
from Guangdong, China (Mainland), I see they are ISO certified and are a maker of Auto Sensor, Crankshaft Sensor, Camshaft Sensor, Speed Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor. I see they quote a FOB price that is real cheep per 20/pc. with minmum 50 piece order. This will be very promising if this is your supplier. You will have to let us know a price you will be charging...everyone is asking in order to commit.
