Default IAT sensor location XJ8

I am getting a pending code on the IAT (Intake air temp) sensor, it says intermentent connection/high voltage. Is it part of the MAF sensor assy? The brown looking bulb.....?
I hit it with cleaner and sprayed the connector and still get spikes in the real-time readings on my meter.
Any ideas or is it likely a bad sensor?
Everything looked pretty clean.

What year and variant car?

Posting the code will help too.

Yes, it is pat of the MAF sensor. The electrical guide should show you what the pins are for the IAT. It's just a thermistor. You can measure across the pins with an ohmmeter and verify that the sensor itself is the issue. It's fairly likely if you see spikes in the scanner data. MAF sensors are not an uncommon failure item.

The OP is trying to clear P1111 that his Code Reader is falsely claiming to be a problem with a MAFS or Air Temp sensor.

The car is X308 and is incorrectly posted here.
