I contacted BBS, and apparently each one of the 20 inch sepang wheels is 15.5kg (34.1 lbs). That's incredibly heavy. Just though I'd mention it since I couldn't find anything about the wheel online.

 

Then you add on the tyre weight and you end up with a very heavy wheel that is really too much for the more elderly readers on this forum, (like myself !!!). I don't think my 17" wheels with fat tyres are much lighter. So nowadays if I am left at the roadside with a puncture, I call the AA.

I always wondered whether the BBS Sepang's, which replaced the Callisto's that are mounted on the 2006 Super V8 Portfolio, were forged or cast.
I can tell you that the 20" x 9" Callisto's are much much lighter (I measured 10.5 kg per wheel). They are forged!

 

At only three years behind you, am I soon going to lose the ability to change a wheel?

I had 20 inch Sepangs on my 2005 XK8 Coupe. Liked the design but not impressed with the build quality.

Wow thats light! Thats actually kinda odd that the most luxury oriented version of the XJ has the lightest forged wheels. I would assume the sport focused model would get the lightweights.
