Default Information screen rolls 2004

When I first start the car in the morning, my information, climate, audio screen rolls like an old television. It does this for about five minutes. It's annoying.
Any suggestions?

I get the same thing, but only on really cold mornings. Any ideas?

Nothing yet. Haven't spent any time on it. If you know where to touch the screen, it works. Lol. I'll get around to it eventually

Here's a couple other threads talking about that. My '04 VP is doing too.

I used to do the same trick! I was living with it for a while but anytime anyone got in the car they'd be like "whoa, what's up with the screen...yeah, I heard these cars have a lot of problems".

I took a chance and bought a NAV unit off ebay, cured the problem. The main thing is to make sure you get the correct unit, check the part number if in doubt. Swapping it out is pretty easy, pull the center console out and unbolt the thing and it comes right out.
The one thing that made me think it was the screen itself was the fact that it's right above where the heat comes out and it seemed to go away as soon as it warmed up, if it were something in the trunk...
