Default Instrument Test mode for X358

There seem to be a number of YouTube clips showing an instrument test mode. I have tried the technique of holding the trip button in while switching the ignition on, but it doesn't work. The information I have says that the test mode is only available until introduction of the X358. Is that type of test only available through the Jaguar dealer software, or is there a different trick for the X358?
I can access the display test (code 1971) to check the navigation information and configuration, but not the instrument test.

Regards
Pete

The correct procedure is to hold in the trip button, turn on the ignition and count slowly to seven, then release the trip button.
If that doesn't bring it up then it looks like it's not available on your 358.

Thanks, Chris.
I tried all the combinations with no success, so it seems the X358 doesn't have the instrument test mode.
