New 2004 XJ8 owner. Bought it and went on a road trip the next day. I have discovered 2 "problems. 1 is the light in my clock is out, but I found threads about changing that bulb
2 is the light in my radio is intermittent. After it got dark, for the longest time I just thought the bulb(s) were out. But then I noticed that t sometimes the light would go on and off. At one point it was almost blinking on and off. Then last night I got in it and the light was on for quite a while but then went out and did not come back on for a long time, then would come on for maybe a minute, then go back off and kept repeating that.
I would say there is obviously a short somewhere ? but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, did they isolate the short.
