This Jag is such a great ride!!
I know forums are mostly to solve problems and issues, but I really love this car!!
I've had Cadillacs, Corvettes, Lincolns and by far this is the nicest car ever. I just turned 100K miles, but the inside is still flawless, and the exterior paint is amazing. I am the second owner of her and looks like she was well taken care of.
Yes, I have posted some issues on here, but nothing major. Those aside, the Jag is phenomenal! The class it possesses, the power to match and great looks make this owner happy!
I have had more complements on this car than the Vette! LOL.
Just thought I post a positive post to anyone considering a Jaguar.

Congrats on your ride! There will days in the future where you will absolutely hate her, guaranteed. But you will always come back to her. I have owned a Jag since 94 and currently have 3 of them. Love them all!
But ... they are high tech, and ... can be a bit troublesome;
BUT ... there's a helluva lot of knowledge here and you'll get plenty of advice (and on www.jaguarforum.co.uk ) ; you're in the right place.

40th Jag anniversary. I purchased my first Jag when I was 21 and I will be 61 at the end of the month. There have been a couple of odd years when I was Jagless but not from choice. I still recall the feeling when I first drove it, burgundy xj6. Had several of those xj6s since, a red E type, a Daimler 2 door coupe in squadron blue, a V12 black convertible XJ-S, currently an XK8 and best of all time so far has to be the 04 XJ8. I cant wait to get in it each day.
It has a whole bunch of extras on it including something I had not seen before, the rear sunshades. Press a button and the one on the rear parcel shelf raises automatically. I just like playing with that!

Absolutely - they're a superb drive beyond a doubt; mine knocks spots off my old Merc.

Thanks.
I turn my own wrenches and am able to, for the most part, do the maintenance issues myself. First thing I did was change the plugs. 3 hours later, I had new plugs installed and a better understanding of the engine.
