Have an 04 XJ where the drivers door does't lock or unlock with the remote. I swapped a latch, I swapped a drivers door module and programed the module to the car. It didn't change anything. Checked continuity to all the wires between the latch and module. All wires good. Checked continuity to ground for latch. Continuity to ground is good, NO HIGH RESiSTANCE. When you hit the lock button on the key all the other locks lock but then unlock right away. Almost as if something is not locking, which is the drivers door. If you supply power across the wires at the door module to the drivers latch, the drivers door locks, and unlocks when you reverse the polarity. I don't think something is wrong with the SCP network or the keyless entry module because the other doors lock and unlock, even if they lock and unlock right away. Any ideas because right now I'm kind of lost. What am I missing or overlooking. Thanks for any help from fellow Jag Techs out there. PS When you hit the lock and unlock button with the remote you can hear the relay in the drivers door module activate(Click). Manually the drivers door locks and unlocks.

 

Problem solved. Had one broken power wire to the door control module.
