in the European one, it might be a bit easier to use. You can, for example, change destination and settings while moving. Not sure what else is different.

the real problem is that new road tunnels through the hills are not in the map. Luckily I know where my nearby ones are, otherwise you have to keep an eye on the road signs.

Roads in Russia are also a bit sketchy, though I have not actually driven there.

My newer off-the-shelf satnav is better functionally, it knows where speed cameras are, and the speed limits, so can warn me if exceeded, and I can load for example chains of shops or pubs. But the on-screen display of the jag system, sound override, and on-wheel buttons are very convenient.

My in-car TV is also way out of date.

I have a 2005 Jaguar Vandenberg Plas.

I went through this a couple of years ago. There is info for earlier models on here.

I finally gave in and risked buying the cheapest disk I could find - now way to afford used for my 05 VDP.

I bought: Jaguar Navigation DVD Disc
For: XF 6W83-10E898-BE 104632-9231 2008 2009 USA CANADA

these acted as an upgrade, and my navigation was back - after the disks were stolen.

thanks

HI everyone.
I am living in Mozambique/Southern Africa. Driving X350 (Japanese import, but all systems are in English).
I am sure there no DVD maps for Mozambique but there should be some for South Africa. Any clue where and how can i get it for a reasonable price? ;-)

Many thanks
VAL
