Default JL II code reader?

Has anyone puchased a LR II i930 code reader and is there enough advantage over the icarsoft i930 to justify the $40 difference in cost?

Oops! I meant LR II code reader in the title.

I looked at both, and purchased the ICarsoft. So I think some of the differences are removable cables, tf card, and reader, larger screen, capable of reseting "service" lights, and a few others.
The software appears to be focused more on the LR side. If the Jag software on it is the same as the Icar soft, It may be a better deal. If you can get confirmation that it has the same software as the Icar soft, I would go with the LRII for only $40 more. I dont know how user freindly the buttons on the LRII are compared to the Icar. I can operate the buttons with 2 thumbs easily. As with the LRII they are all on one side. Still, If the Jag software is the same as the other, I would spend the extra $40. But I wouldn't if it meant losing some of the Jaguar options. My Super V8 is way more complicated than my Range Rover. Now you have me thinking buyers remorse.

For an extra $40 you can have my Mongoose paper weight.

Oops! my decision just got harder when I ran across the i930 on Walmart's web site for $100

http://www.walmart.com/ip/iCarsoft-i...js=1&affwt=top

still, my eyes could use the larger screen even though the information does not appear to fill the LR II screen.

I recieved two answers from the US sellers of the LR II (who I assume from their command of English are really in China) on whether it has the same functions for Jaguars as the i930.

"Hi dear,
We got back from icarsoft tech support regarding your question and following is there answer.
Icarsoft LR II is second generation for i930,iCarsoft LR-II NOT only covers i930 function,BUT also LR-II support Oil service reset,EPB,SAS,ETCS,DPF reset.
Best Regards Hotsales21 sells team"

and

"Yes the LRII has the same function like the i930 and as extra is the maintance reset and EPB function"

So it apparently has the i930 Jaguar functions in a larger display package, although it still does not list my 98 Land Rover Discovery 1 as a covered vehicle.

I just ordered the icarsoft i930 on the walmart web site for $99.74. It did not offer store pickup - shipping only, and there was no tax or shipping at checkout. It would not accept my credit card info but did accept PayPal using the same card - strange.

Anyhow the order says it will arrive by Feb 12th so I'll see what arrives - a Valentines gift to myself. I would have bought the LR2 for a $40 difference, but couldn't quite rationalize a $70 difference. Too bad Wally World didn't have the LR2.
