I'm gearing up to replace the valley hose on my XJ8, and plan to replace the knock sensors while I'm down there. In researching the subject I see references to supercharged engines having different connectors for the left vs right, but the parts catalogs don't seem to make that distinction. Just order 2 each for the non/supercharged version?

 

I made the same mistake when I ordered mine, you only need to order one. Both sensors are mounted together in a single connector located on the right side of your engine about a foot closer to you than your oil cap
