License plate screw

Default License plate screw

Hello. I've gotta 2004 xj8 and the person I bought it from forgot to give me the screws to hold on the liscene plate to the trunk lid and I cannot find the size! Anyone know? The standard ones from auto stores don't work

You should be able to match a metric bolt up to those thread easily enough. Its either that or run as an outlaw.

Ha........one of the problems with the USA not adopting the metric system........ya know the one where every thing multiplies and divides by 10.......which anyone can do.

Try a metric screw.........probably a 6 or 8 mm.
