Maybe I have too many cars !!
Hi
Today I bought another sports car, an MG TF 135 of January 2010. This is a very late production by the Chinese who took over the Longbridge factory. The car is no longer in production, and originally debuted as the MG-F in 1995. The car I have is the same design, but updated slightly. the original F used Hydragas suspension, but the TF is on steel coils. You can read all about it here: -
MG F / MG TF - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The car was never exported to the USA, perhaps just as well, as the engine was renowned for head gasket failure, finally sorted out on my car, at least I think so !
Anyway, the faithfull Midget is not being pensioned off, but will be used less to preserve it better as its now on 33k miles, and still running well. I hope to get the oil leaks dealt with next winter.

Fraser,
That's a cool car! I'd never even heard of one and didn't realize that MGs were still being produced. My second car was a '69 MGB and I wish I still owned it.
I don't think you can own too many cars, especially when they look like your TF 135... :-)
Cheers,
Don

Thanks Don, I'll tell the missus your opinion ! The XJ6 remains in use, but I have got another bout of the dreaded aluminium lurgy on the LH D-post to fix. I also have a set of Comfort air springs to fit when I can get around to it, current ones are Sport. I like comfort in a big car. Of course the new TF is much harder, but it is a real goer up in the moors and very enjoyable with the top down.
PS I heard the curlews calling today. Bright sun and no cloud.

You can never have too many, I can only have 1 car as I live in a flat with with limited parking but if I could I would have 2 or 3 cars.
