Moonroof cover/liner sag and rear power sunshade

I think I understand. I didn't have that issue. There was a bit of residual, old adhesive there, stuck to the substrate, but not a substantial deteriorating foam layer, as I have seen in other situations also.
On 3M adhesive, I am familiar with their "77" adhesive. If that's what you used, it could have been a factor. 3M 77 is very weak compared to Camie 365. I think 3M does make other, stronger spray adhesives, but they are not readily available at retail. Neither is Camie 365 for that matter. It is customarily a case lot, wholesale only product.

Same moonroof issue
I recently had the same delamination issue on the rear section of the moon roof during a closure on my '04 VDP. I contacted 3 shops in the Harrisburg, PA. area. One would not touch it, a second did not do headliners, and the third ESTIMATED $300 to $500. The headliner does have to be unsecured to get to the moon roof. In addition, the moon roof "plugs" will be cleaned. The vendor thought that they may be leaking, but I am positive that the delam is a congenital Jag issue and the discoloration where the moon roof "delamed" was caused by the material bunching up against the foam. No leak.
I'm going with the estimate due to my lack of skill. Price of owning a Jag
Hope this helps someone.
