I have no connections with Motorcars Ltd., but thought this might be of interest to some.

This starts to make a lot of sense, especially for the DIYs. Now to get some testimonials on how it rides and handles. The first reports on the kit were that they would only sell to pro garages. Hope that still does not hold true.

Check their web site forum. They now sell to "enthusiasts" that pretty much covers everyone. George

But you can DIY your air suspension as well! And how would you get the car not to yap at you with error messages on the dash?

2600 - seriously - replacing 4 air springs plus compressor - 2100 - then I can ride on air. Everything from the Range rover and Land Rover forums indicate the ride quality goes down significantly - which is why they put it in in the first place - it sells cars (Jag knows the 2nd and 3th owner will most likely not go with original parts). If the set was 800-1000 as it is for the Rovers I would do it. the steel spring set comes with electronic that satisfy the computer and obviate errors. In a year or two you can most likely get it cheaper. Does anyone knows what the lifetime for the arnott air springs means? - assume it does not really mean lifetime?

Lifetime usually means that if you bought the part and it fails and you still own the car, they will replace it for free(plus shipping and handling)!

The annoying thing is that how long both Land Rover and Jaguar had over the years to get this damned system reliable and chose not too, so sad.

I don't know, is there such thing as an air suspension in a passenger vehicle that is reliable? Even Lexus air suspensions have the same problems the Jaguars have!

I think the bigger problem is how expensive they are. The prices are insane!
