The original changer that came with the car was a pain.Stuck changer system, take out of car free up and replace.After every rebuild I would use it a couple of times then it would jam again.Fed up with this so purchased a good working one.The problem I have now is the mechanism for releasing the cd stack is jammed solid.I have got the stack out bar one tray which still has the cd in it. I've had a good look but can't see how to free this without breaking anything.Any ideas would be gladly received.I was hoping to get to the bottom of this problem and have a working spare changer.

Since you have the original player removed, you should be able to remove the exterior covers as if you were going to repair the unit. You might be able to see how to release the tray bar.
