I've had this about a year now, a 2004 XJ8 3.5. Logbook says its a SE, but it has R-embossed seats. It had previously been owned by the director of a defunct mechanics tech college, so seems quite looked after.

So far issues have been:

-Air compressor. It never actually failed, the warning light flickered one morning a week into ownership. Got the dealer to stump up for a new Jaguar compressor
-Front/ rear parking sensors
=Towbar cover fell off, made a new one from a scrap bumper cover
-Lately, one of the rear doors has developed an issue with the lock and window regulator. Ongoing issue.





My other cars have been MX5s, having owned 5 of them. Just sold on one, down to one left, a Montego Blue S-Special 2 version
