Default Mystery Beeps 2004 XJ8 VDP

I believe that I have a similiar problem that was posted back in February 09' by "Rusbel". These mystery beeps occur on my XJ8 VDP for no reason. The post was "water in the parking sensor?". I do not recall any water around while I was driving and the beep is just like the parking sensor beeps. These are intermittent beeps that occur either at take off, or regular speed driving. When these beeps happen my attention is diverted to the dash board looking for a warning display from the odometer section or some dash light indicator to tell me what is going on. There is never any info there so I am at a loss for infromation to tell me what these beeps mean.

The post listed above was unresolved and left with the information of what happened, but no outcome. Could someone please tell me if they have found an answer, or if they are or have ever experienced a similiar problem.

Thanks.

Mine is doing the same thing. Seemingly only at idle to about 20mph, then it stops until idling again. We have had some "damp" weather with lots of drizzle, but this started on a sunny Sunday drive.

Have you found a resolution or can anyone offer suggestions?
