Default Need Help Identifying Lens

Can any of you identify this lens for me? Both lenses are located at the rear of the 2005 Jaguar XJ8L, but the one on the passenger side is missing. Thanks!

Update: This would be the Jaguar Side Marker Lamp Right Rear, and the correct part number is: C2C2049. Note that this part number is for the right rear side marker lamp with the red lens. The right rear side marker lamp with the amber lens will clearly bear

a different part number.

Now that the rear right side marker lamp was replaced and working, I noticed that none of the other three side marker lamps were lit up. In fact, the ones in the front were replaced only in recent years. So what now? Is the best option simply to leave those three lamps as they are? I mean, it looks like if I should attempt to remove either of those lamps for inspection, they'll likely shatter. Any suggestions? Thanks! By the way, as per the rear right side marker lamp, the female plug was in such bad shape that I had to cut it off, and crimp a couple of insulated 1/8" female spade connectors in its place. Actually, I got a feeling that's exactly what I would have to do with the remaining lamps.

They should come out the same way as the new one went in.
Remove them carefully, and replace the bulbs.

I'll give it a shot starting with the rear left side marker lamp today, and see what happens! Thanks!

I just got through putting the left rear side marker lamp back in place, but I'll need a new fixture (which was about what I expected). The existing fixture needed a new Sylvania 168LL bulb to be sure, but the socket was so hopelessly corroded/broken apart that there was nothing to plug the new bulb into. The female electrical plug to the left rear side marker lamp was in better condition than the right rear side marker lamp (I mean, at least I could plug it in), but I wouldn't trust it as it still looked corroded. In fact, when I get the new left rear side marker lamp, I'll replace that female electrical plug with a couple of insulated 1/8" female spade connectors as before. As for getting the left rear side marker lamp off, the red lens came off first, but that was hardly an issue as I simply glued the lens back in place. Thanks for the tip!

Update: A new left rear side marker lamp has been ordered.

Seems i read somewhere, maybe here.
That the V W lite sockets will fit our cars.
Can be acquired for a lot less cash than the whole light unit from Jaguar

I'll keep that in mind next time. Thanks! As per the two front side marker lamps which I had replaced in the last few years, I'm expecting that the bulbs are still okay, but rather the electrical female plugs to those lamps are shot. If so, I'll just snip off the old plugs, and crimp the wires onto a couple of insulated 1/8" female spade wire connectors.

Update: I removed the right front side marker lamp today, and upon inspection, everything was pristine including the bulb, the bulb socket and the female electrical connector. In fact, I didn't bother to inspect the left front side marker lamp because everything was likely pristine with that lamp as well. What I'm thinking is that I may

have some operator control out of position which is preventing both of the front side marker lamps from illuminating. Actually, with the way I have things currently set up, both the headlights and the tail lights are coming on automatically as soon as I start the car up at night. Well, both of the rear side marker lamps are obviously being powered up as well, but I'm not sure if the front side marker lights are supposed to be coming on with that set up. Afterwards, I had to glue a flat toothpick on the back of the rear plastic tab which had apparently busted off before I even attempted to remove the fixture. This was necessary in order to provide a snug fit inside the body for the fixture.

Update: I installed the new left rear side marker lamp on my 2005 Jaguar XJ8L yesterday. As you can see, I discarded the corroded female electrical plug to the lamp

, and installed a couple of female 1/8" spade connectors in its place.
