Default new goodies for the Jag

Just got these in from Europe... Lemforder (ZF) tie rods for front and rear. Very happy to see some upgraded material on the rear boots, looks like it might be silicone. I think that's very wise considering how close those boots sit to the caliper. The old boots are nearly gone at 70k miles, front are not far behind.

Can't wait to get these installed and the car aligned. It may actually drive like a Cat should again

Very nice! What was your motivation for replacing them?

The boots are so shot that there's nothing really left... especially the rears, and the car can't hold a straight line anymore. Trying to drive down the highway is like threading a needle to stay in lane. No play in bushings that I can find, so going to replace these and get an alignment, see if this doesn't bring back that Jaguar handling.

Much better than dealer prices... I think $50 for each front tie rod, and $75 for each rear. These are through Rockauto, but came from their Euro warehouse.

Also, from what I've gathered, Lemforder may have been OE for Jag. It is for BMW. Quality seems VERY good.
