To help others give relevant advice, you should add:
1. halogen or HID headlamps fitted
2. fuses checked
If you don't have the Driver's Handbook with the fuse locations, post back here and I'll put the list up.

halogen or hid ? sorry how do I tell ? I looked in manual and it refers to the main lights as the inner set and the dipped beams as the outer ? dipped = hibeams?
are there 2 fuses for the inner set mains ? I will check fuses

The main beam lamp unit and the front parking (side) lamp are in the inner unit and the dipped beam and the turn signal lamp unit are in the outer. Dipped are fused separately but both main beams are on the same fuse:

Standard Halogen (H7) bulb headlamps simply have a bulb holder:

The HID headlamps consist of a headlamp bulb and a combined ballast and headlamp leveling module fitted to the headlamp. Burner wear for HID lamps is so low that the burner lasts the lifetime of the vehicle under normal use. Headlamp automatic leveling is controlled by the air suspension module receiving information from the controlled area network (CAN) data.
The HID setup has a lot more to go wrong!

Your terminology sounds like you are in North America. Dipped=low beam (outer lights); Main=high beams (inner lights). The lights vary a bit by geography or options, especially the dipped/low beam, which is why you are getting questions as to the type of bulbs you have. However, I should think the main/high beam bulbs are halogen bulbs in all markets.
ok all halogen, also my hi beams are the inner set of lights and mains are the outer, opposite of what the manual says.Yes Im in the USA. Are there seperate fuses for the hi beams(inner set).
