Default No compression XJ6 2003 (3.oL V6)

Hello,

I have been struggeling for a while with no compression on cylinder 6. It all started when I was driving and got the engine light flashing, the error codes said missfire cyl 2&6. I changed the coils and plugs which solved the misfire on cylinder 2. However after doing a compression test I had no compression on cylinder 6, so I was thinking perhaps it is valve. However I can't find anyone with the same issues as I have, do you have any experience?

I ordered the head gasket kit and am hoping to find a way to remove the head without removing the engine, is it possible?

Yes it is possible.
One forum member has recently posted a video because he

is repairing his head because a valve seat has become detached and is dangling on the stem!

Nightmare or what ?

For more info I suggest you Google eg "jaguar x350 head gasket replacement"
