Default odometer rewind

Hi Everyone
My 2004 Jap Import XJ8 has a speedo in km/hr but the odometer reads miles. My local Independent specialist has a used mph speedo. However, the mileage on the car is 54,000 and the replacement unit shoows 118,000. Is it possibe to re-programme this to 54,000mls?
.

I'm fairly sure that can be done via SDD. There are probably auto electricians who could do that for you too.

The Instrument Pack is a programmed module. I know from needing a replacement for an XK8 that swapping them is not straightforward - it has to be both compatible and programmed.

Changing the dial insert is an easier option. Here's an example:

Thanks Graham,
I got a previously used/secon hand Cluster fitted and it is only the odometer that needs re-winding now I have been quoted £200.00 for this.
Regards,
Kevan

I thought Dick Turpin operated on the A1, not the M6.
