P0300
Hi, I am new to the forum and I am hoping someone can lead me in the right direction. I was driving everything running smooth when POP the radiator hose popped off. I was able to get it back on and put in more coolant, drove another couple of miles and then car when into degraded mode and stopped completely. After being towed I checked with a diagnostic tool. The results are P0300 thru P0308 misfires P08118 Engine Coolant Temp Circuit High Input & P0327 Knock Sensor 1 Input (Bank 1). I was told I need a new engine but I am thinking since all 8 cylinders are misfire (All new spark plugs changed) that it might me ECT senor. I am hoping someone can take my info and offer an opinion on which way to go.
Thank you Doug
Thank you Doug
The coolant might dump onto the coil pack and possibly shorting some out. Another place to look for is coolant dump onto the knock sensor which could also kill the knock sensor due to thermal shock. It is more likely elctrical or ignition related than engine problem.
