Default p0560 code (low voltage) - 2006 Jaguar XJR

Hi everyone,

I'm getting check engine light (p0560; low voltage) stored, and pending. ECM will perform readiness test on misfire, fuel system and comprehensive component, as well as 0xygen sensor heater (HTR) and Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) - leaving Evaporative system (EVA) and 0xygen sensor (02s) 'not ready'. At this stage P0560 (low voltage) is displayed and resets the readiness testing for 3 out of five. As such the vehicle is not able to pass state inspection (NY).
- Mechanically, everything else is in order. mpg is normal, idles well, no misfires. However upon every startup, monitor readiness tests are reset whereby 5 of 5 non-continuous measures shows incomplete.

Pic below (pardon the size) shows the closes i've made it to the mandatory 4 of 5 system ready tests. The ones I am able to clear (EGR; CAT; HTR) all respond reliably to the posted drive cycle.
The remaining two however (O2S; EVA) does not come on. According to the drive cycle, EVA requires a 30 second ignition of sequence, which then resets all previously cleared codes.
Check engine light (p0560) shows up intermittently.

Please advise!

First thing I'd get checked is the battery, battery related faults are very common on these cars, Get it properly tested, it may seem fine, but even being down a couple of volts can cause mayhem, been there, done that, replaced the battery and it was a different car. Also check earth connections, they too can cause problems, because the chassis is Aluminium and the earth studs steel, they can come loose, I believe a common culprit are the studs behind the headlights?, after that you might want to check the charging system, could be a weak alternator.
Hope this helps
