Parkbrake Fault & Cruise Control Not Available
The list of what to do for next year is already writing itself. Shortly after getting the wiper assembly back in and brake lines drained, the cruise control error introduced itself. Perhaps knowing it was easy enough to ignore, the parkbrake fault decided to introduce itself as next season's villain. I've read a few posts of folks encountering one or the other but never both. Assuming its no coincidence, I suspect all of the brake pressing from the bleeding process helped send the pedal switch into the great beyond.
Classic low battery symptom. Drive the car a bi to get some charge on the battery, then do the reset by turning off the car, removing both battery cables and touching them together for a few seconds. reinstall the cables, and on next startup you'll have to "train" the parkbrake by following the prompts on the dashboard. (You'll also have to retrain the auto-up on the windows.) That should get you away from those unavailable messages, but if they reappear, you'll need to replace the battery, as it's not holding enough voltage to keep the systems "alive." And by ow voltage, we're talking a tenth of a volt or two.
