I used a hole punch, was a little tricky but it worked. The hard part was lining up the carbon fiber on the different panels so the weaves match and also wrapping the airbag trim piece while its still attached to the car. That trim piece has straps that are bolted to the inner dash frame and you need to remove other components to be able to unbolt it. So I just wrapped it while it was still attached.

Cambo351, looks like you had to remove the door panels to do the door trims. I'm thinking of doing them next. How straight forward is the door panel removal?

Not hard to do. It's a few screws (1x at door handle, 2x under the armrest, 1x at the bottom of the door) and then the push-fit clips which just pop out when you pull on the door card (from the bottom is best). The cable on the door handle needs to be unclipped. And then disconnect the wiring. The veneers are held in with bent tabs.
