Thanks all! It is a blast to drive. I just got it back from the shop, some issue with an air flow regulator. Now fixed and running well.

Saw and sat in the new XJ--beautiful! Have to wait a bit to afford one though.

Gorgeous. She looks like my old 04 XJ8, may she rest in peace. Which leads to my second thought: they really shouldve done something more to differentiate the Super V8 from the regular models, like how the Portfolio had the chrome side vents. Bigger wheels and a badge in the back? Not enough! Add some vents or fender flares or something! Just kidding, its still a gorgeous car.

Hey, the way you can differentiate a Super V8 is by looking at the big smile on the drivers face and the bigger smile on the rear passengers face. Don't normally have people back there, thought, so I have to smile extra. Oh yeah, congrats!

Brendan, where were you in Japan? I was in Tokyo for awhile too... I have an 06 Super V8.

 

Very Classy and will always be a head turner. I like the nickel mirrors, maybe I should add some to mine.
