I have a 2005 xj8 and am wondering whether it's possible to play dvd's on the front screen.

If it is what components etc are required?

any replies greatly appreciated.

 

I have a 2005 Jaguar XJR and have just finished installing a Navtool box essentially between the NAV DVD player in the trunk and the NAV screen. So far I have a rear camera working and soon I will connect a DVD player thru the 2nd (of 2) Video inputs on the Navtool box.
There are several threads in this forum on how to do this install. Search Navtool and you should find them.
I was only able to do the install based on help from people in this forum as Navtool was not too helpful and their wiring diagram for Jaguar is incorrect.

 

I should emphasize that any movies playing will be for the passenger with earphones or me when I sit outside a clothing store while my wife goes shopping!
