M3s are a lot of fun, not even in the same class as Jags, but have their share of expensive issues and maintenance, especially the clutch. Welcome to high-line car ownership, I've been at it for 20 years. That's why 15 years ago I stopped keeping cars outside of warranty and usually no more than 30K miles, until now.

Good luck with the car. I recently had to spend what seemed like an awful lot of money on the rear suspension, so I feel for you

Ok so for an update. I had the front shocks and shock bushings replaced today. But I'm being told that the pump won't turn on. Anyone know if the pump needs to be recalibrated or reset or something? I'm losing my mind w this car now

I replaced the compressor w/a Arnott unit. It wouldn't run either. Took to local private jag shop and they had it up in minutes. Good Luck...

Mine was also reset w/computer software. Now, I too need front shocks. Thinking about the new Arnott's, altho maybe only 1 needs R/R but they are sold in pairs. With 81k miles 2 new 1's would be a good feeling.
