Possible Suspension Problems
M3s are a lot of fun, not even in the same class as Jags, but have their share of expensive issues and maintenance, especially the clutch. Welcome to high-line car ownership, I've been at it for 20 years. That's why 15 years ago I stopped keeping cars outside of warranty and usually no more than 30K miles, until now.
Ok so for an update. I had the front shocks and shock bushings replaced today. But I'm being told that the pump won't turn on. Anyone know if the pump needs to be recalibrated or reset or something? I'm losing my mind w this car now
I would greatly appreciate if you can find out what they did exactly because I have been without my car for 4 wks now... thanks
Just for grins, check the relay and fuse indicated on the attached page.
******FIXED******* turns out the pump needed to be reset by computer.. It's up n running now . Just waiting 'till tomorrow for some quality control and I should have her back........
Mine was also reset w/computer software. Now, I too need front shocks. Thinking about the new Arnott's, altho maybe only 1 needs R/R but they are sold in pairs. With 81k miles 2 new 1's would be a good feeling.
