I remember a series of posts about how x-308 door locks seize up from non use because everyone uses the key fob and not the Tibbe Key.

I was interested in whether the X-350 (2006 XJR) can work the door glass from the driver door lock by inserting the key. I can't get it to budge. So, it is either seized up or the key won't insert all the way. Attached is a photo of the key inserted into the door lock. Is it inserted all the way? The photo of the trunck lock with the key inserted shows the key inserted deeper than the door lock.

I sprayed some penetrating oil in both.
