5.75 and slower is very normal for stock 4.2 sc jags on the road surface .
but 3.2,in these jags id say is impossible.
it would need a prepped drag strip , slicks and 650-700hp with lsd .
mine is way modded and has near to 500bhp .
admittedly no lsd .and I still struggle to get 5sec to 100kph on a road surface .
slightly better on asphalt.
when mine was stock I could never better 6sec on the bitumen.

Yep that's why the device Jackra is using is probably skewed doesn't make any sense but I believe 4.9 or so should be a stock supercharged Jaguar 5.75 would be more like a XJ8 without looking up specs online...

0-100 in 5.3 is what autocar and car& driver got when released in 03 .
On a prepped Ashfelt surface.
As I said this is dam near impossible on bitumen road surface.
I have managed a five second in all the times I’ve tried. It is quite the task to undertake trust me.
5.75 I would say is very good for a 400 hp 1800KG car that is one wheel drive.

This is what I got from Car and Driver later when the XJR had 40,000 miles on the odometer. Back at the track, the XJR had matured into a friskier cat. The sprint to 60 now took just 4.7 seconds and the quarter-mile 13.2 at 107. More impressive were the Jag's numbers from 0 to 100 and 0 to 130. New, the XJR reached the century mark in 12.2 seconds and 130 mph in 23.6 seconds; after 40,000 miles, the times were 11.3 ticks and 20.7...

I am sure my results are skewed.

I plan on doing same type of run same place in the Rover as a comparison. One stock set up one with VAP tune.

Trouble is the road back in 2016 was not built up now it has spaced out large houses set well back from the road. Excellent views but all I need is someone reporting me
so have to find another road somewhere.

This is a very good resource supposedly the most accurate on the internet https://www.zeroto60times.com/ 4.9 xjr...I looked up a 1990 Iroc Z Camaro which I used to have and it's a dog sled compared to the XJR and they're showing 5.7 seconds 0 to 60... I think it had 240 horsepower

Most accurate device I ever used is " Dragy", I use it all the time and times are dead on acurate with actual time slips at the track
For reference best 0-60 I have ever gotten was actually on the street and not the track , with street tires and perfect launch 3.8 0-60 (with 1 ft rollout as factory cars are tested) or 4.05 ( without 1 ft rollout)
Most of the time I'm at around 4 sec mark (without 1ft rollout) or 4.3 with it
Car is 2008 convertible XKR, dynoed 430 rwh on Mustang Dynometer or around 470 rwh on Dynojet

Wish I could use slicks , but lack of room to carry two wheels to the track prevents that. I'm sure would knock of .2-.3 sec off 60ft time and at least .5 sec on 1/4mi time

After some research the Atturo AZ850 are one of the best rated tires of all for straight-line traction. Super cheap 2...

I run R888r in the rear. They hook very well. When they were new, i couldnt spin them if the ground was dry. Theyre not the cheapest though

With or without Nitrous? Aren't the 285/35R19s to wide for the rim width?

Az850? Never heard of them, il check them out. I doubt they can be better off the line than re71r that I have on now, very sticky, but can still roast them if I step on it.
I have 285/35/19 instead of 275 no fitment issues, thinking of going even wider.

I never sprayed on a launch, only from a roll so far. I am confident that they would hook though. I have seen those tires hook for some really high HP cars. I have 285/30/20 on the rear, fenders rolled.

I'd love to see some pictures of your car with the wheels and how it looks if you ever get a chance. Forgot to ask do you have an LSD differential?

I want that X350 (3.2, 0-60) That would roast a new $100k vette.

I don't have LSD, but they still hook somehow. The tires are very soft. If its cool outside, which it rarely is in Florida, i just put a bit of heat into them and then they grip.

Those look really great thanks for pics and sharing. I have the 19 inch XJR Wheels unfortunately they're not wide enough to accommodate a tire that size

Default 450hp+ VS 1000hp+

Roll raced a giant turbo LS swap wagon. I knew I'd get walked, but it was fun.

I didn't spray... Wouldn't have helped much anyway
