Default Questions about A/C

Okay yesterday it was 41c driving my X350 the A/C was to cold on my face at 22 but nice on my feet (driving bare feet)

I turned it up to 24 it was perfect for my face but was warm on my feet is this meant to be like this never had a car that did this before

turned it back down to 22 feet nice but started to give me a headache had to turn the vents of me which made me hot again

Both my old Jags the 92XJ and the 95XJR6 gave the same cold air top and bottom

The X350 felt like the heater was on my feet at 24 as it was still cold on my face just not headache cold

Much more likely to be the difference in the number of temperature receptors and their level of sensitivity on your face versus your feet. None of us feels temperature the same way across all of our body as some areas are more sensitive than others.

Doc,

Pull the fuse for the aux water pump and see if you it improves
im guessing you have an issue with the flaps in the heater box preventing full redirection of the cold air in the assembly.

Its a good trick to pull the fuse anyway for the Oz summer anyway

Pulling the fuse slows the flow of hot coolant onto the heater matrix by a big margin.

Cheers
