Hi everyone.

Just getting back to looking at my electrical issue with my XJ8 VDP 4.2 NA. I started this thread to deal specifically with related modules and how/if they exist or rely on each other.

If you have read my other threads you might remember that I have a Fuel pump fault, a fuel level sender fault, Parking assist issues, and rear height sensor issues on both sides. I am wondering if these things could be related based on how they connect into the Rear Electronic Module (after examining the electrical diagrams), and whether that might be the first place to look. Would there be extra codes if the REM was faulty.

Any opinions on this?

 

Yes, check your grounds to the body at the rear of the vehicle for corrosion. Be careful the studs are delicate. Do not overtighten.
