Default Rear swaybar?

Had my car towed when I moved down to TX.
I think the tow guy strapped the car down in the rear using what to me looks like the rear swaybar. I noticed it hanging down under the rear axle today when I was parked.
does anyone know if this is the rear swaybar? It seems very thin aluminum to me to be a swaybar.
Any ideas what else it is? It dowsnt connect to anything else on the ends that I can see.

I think it is #5, a rear brace. That whole part may be replaced easily, but it is raining here so I can't take a peek under my car.

If I were you, I would claim the towing company. The guy should have known that that is not the place to use for towing purposes...

This is how the brace looks like in reality:

Best regards,

Thomas

Thank you @Thomas-S. and @worzella for your help.
I found a used one on ebay for $150. New one is around $300. I'd be shocked if this part even makes a difference judging from the thin aluminum material?
@Thomas-S. what happened to your exhaust?

No worries, its back on

If I remember correctly, I took the pictures while replacing one of the catalytic converters, and for doing that, for me the easiest way was to remove everything and put it back on afterwards. The brace that got damaged on your car is actually very helpful when dismantling the exhaust system, as you can use it as a helpful hand for the middle silencers...

Best regards,

Thomas

I had my car 8 years before I discovered my brace was broken, no bar at all, gone! The plate bits with the bolts there are present but no bar! It's been like that since I got her.
