Reverse light switch
HI everyone
Could use some help. My reverse lights are not working. The autoelectrician says that there is power. He suggested that it could be the reverse light switch. Does anyone know or have a diagram of where the reverse light switch is on a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 X350 Rt Hand drive Automatic.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

The switch may be integrated into the Gearshift Hand Lever, Jaguar part number C2C36038.

Does anyone have a complete set of the X350 Electrical Wiring Diagrams? And/or X350 Maintenance/Repair Manuals?

The signal for reverse comes from the TCM and is taken by the REM to activate the lights, by grounding out the circuit. Pretty much need SDD to check some signals. If car goes into reverse, and light on J-Gate indicates reverse, one could assume the signal is being sent from the TCM.
