SDD in Virtual Machine drops USB when reading VIN
Hello and thanks for checking out my post.
For a while I've been trying to get my computer to connect to my 2005 Super V8 again via SDD. I have the v130 on Windows XP virtual machine that is suggested in these forums. I successfully used it (and my Drews Mongoose that turned out to be a knock off) to adjust the ride height a few times, but I never found the values that the car is supposed to be at so it always finished with an error. Now I get an intermittent Air Suspension Fault that stumps dealerships and Jag shops alike.
I'm trying again to get my PC to talk to the car and every time I hit READ the VIN, it drops the connection for a moment before reconnecting via the USB filter I set up in Virtualbox. The same reaction occurs when I try to flash the firmware through the virtual machine. I've exhausted all kinds of google searching, even tore apart the Mongoose and the PC. Am I alone?
