Seeking install order for JLR-SDD v130
Gonna go back to the basics here....I need to reflash my ECM due to a surging idle from a new Throttle Body sensor install.
I have a dedicated WIN 7 (32 bit) program of JLR SDD v138 working on a laptop (with the new app.war file) and it wont upload the files.
I'm gonna keep this laptop for diagnosing and calibrating the front and rear ends of height adjustments for my air shocks if necessary. You know the cliche....If aint' broke...dont fix it.
So....I'm gonna try v130.0 on another laptop with WIN XP as I understand it works flawlessly from the old threads I have read here....I have the files....I just need the order of install. I looked on youtube and couldn't find it....I know that you need to install java and adobe and pre set your laptop date to August 2012. Is the deep freeze program that I have read on numerous threads really necessary??

You can run it on window 10 in a virtual machine. That's a fancy way of saying you can run xp in a window on a winows 10 pc or laptop and the program will think it is xp. I have it like that on a Windows 7 laptop and it works OK.
I guess you ask that about any software right? Deep Freeze simply allows you to protect your core OS in case something goes wrong with the load. I think it's typically used when people are uploading hacked versions of software that corrupt the OS. If it was my laptop and I had a version I know is clean, I wouldn't bother, but I would make sure I have the Windows XP product code and install disk in case. My two cents.
Seems to be SOP for those who use Mangoose from what I read.
