Don't usually publicize here when I sell but this is such a unique (and awesome) car I thought I would give the true enthusiasts here a crack at it. Several threads in this forum on things I have done.

Very conflicted whether to sell but there is another toy in my crosshairs and I guess I can't have everything. Sigh.

Wow - I have o 2006 XJ, but I only dream about a car such as this - There is a member whose 2006 Portfolio was totaled by a careless driver who rear ended him and he has been fighting his insurance co since for a decent payoff - seems he underinsured it, but he might be in the market - or rather IS in the market I think... goes by user ID: Portfoliolio - And I hope I am not committing a faux pas by saying so.

 

I was on Portfolio's thread quite a bit, provided some documentation and info that I think helped in his efforts. Think he was ultimately successful but already went with a replacement.

This car is in really good shape, Black Cherry Paint, near flawless in and out, always garaged, always maintained. I put on the caldoofy intake tube as well as a lot of stereo/video/backup camera upgrades. I also replaced a few bushings, trans mounts, engine mounts, did the tranny service as well as changed the S/C oil.

96k miles and change, always a SoCal car and selling it for about $4k under book. KBB Retail is over $33k and I am asking $28,900 for mine.
