Cool Shopping List: Suspension Rebuild

Is there (pray) a single place where the pieces required to rebuild our X350 front and rear suspension is listed?

And, a list of the best sources (eg, Ford/Lincoln LS part numbers for various bits)?

I have been reading archived threads surrounding these questions until I am seeing double.

If anyone can point me in the proper direction, I'm glad to collate such a list and post it

Ditto pics on the rebuild process, if there is interest (though related pics abound in the forum archives)

I saw a seller on Ebay based out of Texas that sells the Front and rear as kits. Can't remember his name, but he was reputable as others have purchased from him.

Tks Oly

I've spent a stupid amount of time researching this, and have now ordered all (pray) the suspension parts I need. It ain't simple

See my other thread; though if there's sufficient interest, I'll put this info in a spreadsheet and post it. I have the impression that v few forum members get this deep...

Short take: To do things right using jag parts/labor would total almost all X350's. DIY using Chinese ebay parts creates a mess. The middle road is complicated...

Middle road's ALWAYS seems to be that way, finding the best bang for the buck, is never easy, but the most satisfying when your done.

The Ford/Lincoln parts were sourced from Delray Ford in Fl. Bought the rest from Rock Auto. Did not need a curved arm. Tie rod ends from Amazon. Did replace front hubs with new ones from Detroit Axle.
Those Detroit Axle front hubs are so cheap it is scary. Think I paid around 80.00 for a pair with shipping included. Includes working ABS sensors. So far so good.
Rear lower arms are expensive. Upper arms and toe links are reasonable for Lemforder, Jaguar, Ford parts. Rebushed the lower front straight arms.
My car must have been soaked in gasoline, every rubber suspension boot was gone. It was nine years old.

Tks Panel

All my rubber parts completely shot as well. Wierd...

I did about the same as you; new UCA's (ford); OE rubber where possible via Rock and FCP. Lower LCA bushes are avail from lemforder, but I can't find a source. I grudgingly ordered EBay bushings, but may end up buying new arms. Got DA hubs too, though my originals seem OK

I will rebush front lower arms also (except outboard banana arm joint - NA)

Hisport, collecting repair/replacement parts for my 06 xjr with 97k. Front control arms are good. Rear, all gone. Could you provide me with a list of replacement/repair parts needed? Thanks.

That's quite a list! I have been dealing with my front suspension creaking for some time now myself. I poked my head in under the car this afternoon to find out that the hydra bush on my drivers curved control arm (MAS auto p# CA 20237 which I believe has been superseded) after less than a year. As well as the beck/arnley 101-7517 air shock bushing on the same side.

Check over all your parts when you receive them! I'm actually very concerned at the moment considering my "brand new" 101-7517 looks like this:
