John,
I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center section to X350 section. The Advice / Feedback section is for posts about the forum and not for technical questions.
Members here with the same model as you have should be able to help with the CD player issue.

With these modern cars, the optional equipment usually has to be added to the electronic list of what the car has, so the new kit is recognised by the control unit in the dash. Alternatively, it has not been connected up correctly, so you may need to check in the boot to make sure, (having removed the LH side panel, of course.)
You may have to visit a main dealer to find out, but some specialists will also know how to find the problem.

Hi...
many thanks for the quick reply i have managed to get it going ..
it apears the previous owner had taken the fuse out , i put a 10amp fuse in and it is working great now..
Thanks and regards
John...
Yep makes you wonder.
Here is my theory
1. The previous owner blew a 10amp fuse
2. He was too tight to purchase a fuse
3. In a moment of brilliance he thought "my cd stacker does not work i'll use that fuse"
4. CD fuse removed and used elsewhere
With that level of thinking the original CD issue was probably all the CD's loaded in the caddy upside down
Glad its solved good luck with your new ride
Cheers
