my 2004 jaguar xj8 doesent start and when she does she doesent go into park she sayd communication fault all the lights urned on not sure why does anybody know what i can do ??\

i already changed the battery, clamps cleaned the senors changed the air filter and nothing

All sorts of weird n wonderful electrical issues, CEL etc etc can be caused by a failing battery, its well documented on this forum and others.

Have you checked the battery condition?

Its worthwhile to at least rule it out

 

I believe this is a duplicate post...

Unfortunately, something is amiss - hate to say but you may wind up at the dealership with this one...

Check all connections to the PCM.

 

Pull the fault codes Via OBD II. That should give you some sort of idea of where to start looking.
