I have play in the steering but not in the column.
I’ve confirmed it not the bushes or bearings but not sure yet if its the ball joints, rack or the rack mounts

If it is the rack ill replace the ball joints and rack mount anyway.

Assuming I need a rebuild on the rack, I know the S type has the same rack as the 04 XJR

Does anyone know any other makes/models that use the same rack

The reason I ask is the same part can be much more expensive as soon as you say Jag
Case in point just replaced the plugs, I did a part search on the part number and found one on a common Ford

Price was $84 each when I sail it was for the XJR
Same Store was $32 each for the ford
