I've been searching for an XJR to buy and was trying to figure out why some tan interior XJR's have tan steering wheels while others have a black one. I've seen this in the 04-07 x350's. The black steering wheel looks awful and very out of place in a tan interior. I thought it was a replacement steering wheel. Was this an option?

 

There were several leather/wood and a solid wood version available as options. I prefer a black dash for glare control and a black steering wheel to hide the stains.
