suspension fault xj8
Also messages like "suspension fault" or "vehicle too low"
You need to get the fault codes read, but if you can tell us more about the vehicle, (miles, year) a prognosis can be given. The air compressor doesn't last forever, early ones not very good, later ones much better.
So over to you

Hi six6rider,
Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.
The most common causes of your symptoms are:
1. An air leak somewhere in the air suspension system. Likely leak points are the air hose fittings, the top seals in the front air springs, or a leak in one or more of the air spring bladders/air bags.
2. A worn piston ring/seal in the air compressor. Replacing the piston ring is easy and an excellent kit is available from our member bagpipingandy.com . If the cylinder head in the compressor has developed a wear ridge, you will also need a new head, but bagpipingandy may also be able to help you with that.

Also, please add the year, model and engine details of your Jag to your signature line so others don't have to scroll back to Post 1 in your thread to know the specifics under discussion.

Don
