suspension pumps up to normal but after bout 45 seconds releases and drops down to bottom. Is there a relay that controls this?

 

Just a guess-- but it sounds like you have an air leak so persistant that the air compressor can't keep up and the thermal sensor kicks in to shut down the compressor.
You could try switching around the related relays but I'm not hopefull that is going to help. Read throughly the stickie on this subject at the top of this forum.
Do keep us posted on how it sorts out.

 

up date ,car was taken to dealer ,right front air shock leaking ,being replaced by dealer ,approximately $1500 to $1700 estimate.

Unfortunately, the dealer will not install refurbished or customer provided parts...for liability reasons.

If I were you, I'd pay my diagnostic fee (and any other labor charges to date) go to an independent, and buy the refurbed for them. You'll save enough for an extended golf weekend.

 

your right,could save enough probable pay my steer roping entrance fee .gonna let them do it this time ,thanks for all you guys advise.

 

we'll hopefully do more good on the next go-round.
