On my wife's VDP, I held the Phone and Menu buttons down until the display went into the system menu mode, put in 1971, and then got a menu of options.

Does anyone have any Jag documentation that explains what all the functions do in this mode, such as S/W Update? I understand this probably means what it stands for, but does it do any update on its own, or does it require the IDS for *any* software update?

I went into the misc menu hoping that I could "turn the phone on" and get rid of the Config B error message, but it was already turned on when the screen came up.

Any info would be great!
