Takata airbag inside ?
In germany, BMW makes a recall for some models from 2002 to 2006, because of faulty takata airbags.
As every brand seems to have used the crap of takata, I'd like to know what is inside my X350.
( I found takata to be inside the XF, but no information about the x350.)

Doesn't appear to be a recall, but don't just take my word.
There are recalls for E-Pace, F-Pace, F-Type, XE, XF, XJ(X351) here in NZ.
Google "jaguar airbag recall" and enter your VIN (but this may not work if you get the wrong country or country website) ("Invalid VIN")
I don't trust anyone based on this anecdote:
For my Honda I rang Honda NZ "Your vehicle is OK".
A few months later, Honda rang me to recall it. I never got the first OK in writing.
(and when they did recall it, they didn't even want to give me a receipt for recall done-I had to insist)
I know it's far too soon for jokes, but a full facemask will protect you from flying Takata shrapnel, plus the other one.
Incidentally, my dash airbag light came on the other day, just after I'd been for a Warrant of Fitness (MOT). Turned out, they had left the passenger seatbelt clipped in, with no passenger! So those passenger-detecting sonic sensors in the roof lining must work then.

If you have a child in the front seat with the seat belt on the light will stay on.

Delphi supplied Jaguar's first ARTS (Adaptive Restraint Technology System) for the 2001 XK.

The XJ has ARTS, but whether it's the same supplier, who knows.
----------
And then:
-TRW (now owned by ZF) is listed as an airbag supplier (or parts) for some models:
https://www.crashdata.co.uk/jaguar-h...air-p/1498.htm
-Autoliv for other airbags or parts (XF)
I think it's best to consider not pranging.
