Default Thanks for the help while I was here...

Almost a year ago I bought my first Jaguar - a 2004 XJ8. I had always liked the looks of a Jag, but very knew little about them beneath the surface. My Jag was fairly low mileage, but had an issue or two starting with a sagging front suspension. A local member of this forum was kind enough to help me get that resolved with his instruction and incredibly generous hands on help (you know who you are).

I enjoyed the car for several months and got a lot of comments from the public about it. But I've had to trade the Jag for another vehicle that will allow my Honey to make trips out of state to visit her aging parents. She has a number of physical conditions that demand a very smooth ride with certain seat characteristics, etc. that neither the Jag or her Cadillac DTS could satisfy.

Soon after I bought the Jag, I bought a Panasonic Toughbook and a Mangoose with SDD v.138. I also installed JTIS and EPC software on it. If anyone is interested, I've posted it for sale in the For Sale Southeast section of this forum.

Thanks for everyone's advice, suggestions, and general conversation during the time I had my Jag.

Sorry to see you go, but things change and life goes on....

I wish you the best of luck with your new vehicle, Jag owner or not, you'll always be made welcome here.

Best
Jim

bookman,

You'll be missed here at the forum, but many members find they can't stay away from Jags forever, so we'll look forward to seeing you again when the time is right!

Cheers,

Don
